Enemy Remains Enters Rock Band Network, RockGamers Partners with Octave Revolt:

We are excited to announce that RGS will be collaborating with Octave Revolt a major management company in New England that has already snagged the likes of big bands such as Enemy Remains, Hyngd, City Under Siege, My Empire, Ocecmic and The Scint Pyrates.

<a href="./ourcompany.cfm">Octave Revolt Management represents major up and coming pop rock, hardcore and metal acts in the New England area. They are affiliated with well known clothing label <a href="http://www.dirtbagclothing.com/">Dirtbag Clothing and have backed several concerts and tours including the <a href="http://www.ctfilmfest.com/">Connecticut Film Festival and the <a href="./octavenewenglandfest2010.cfm">Octave New England Fest.

We are very excited to be working with Octave Revolt not only because we will combining forces to bring <a target="_new" href="http://www.enemyremains.com">Enemy Remains to the <a href="http://www.rockband.com/rock-band-network">Rock Band Network,&nbsp;but also because Octave Revolt is a ground breaking new Management Company out of New England area consisting of many bands of extraordinary talent.

<a href="http://www.enemyremains.com">Enemy Remains featuring former drummer&nbsp;of Fates Warning,&nbsp;Steve Zimmerman, will be the first group set to hit the Rock Band Network. Their release &quot;Live For Today&quot; is a hard rock anthem with chugging bass lines, gruff yet melodic vocals, and alternating complicated guitar work. &quot;Live For Today&quot; is going to be a great track download for rock fans, metal fans and alternative fans alike. Whether it's the heavy breakdown or gentle background guitar work, Enemy Remains really provides a dynamic track.

We look forward to bringing more Octave Revolt bands to the Rock Band Network and are ecstatic about our new collaboration!

Please Welcome My Empire To The Octave Family!

<a href="./ourclients.cfm">My Empire was formed in 2008 by Luke Wright, Nate Thompkins, and Chris St. John. After putting up fliers in a local music shop, they found a drummer named Ryan Aracena. In April of 2008, they played their first show with a singer, only to have him quit halfway through the year. While holding auditions for a new singer, the band proved that the show really must go on, and continued to perform with no vocalist. However, My Empire was persistent and carried on with auditions, finally finding their new permanent singer, Tanner Hall. Shortly after Hall joined the band, the group recorded their first demo CD.
My Empire's influences come from a broad variety of styles and genres, ranging from bands like Tool, Dream Theater, and Coheed and Cambria, to more mainstream bands such as Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Incubus. It's hard to pinpoint just one gnere or style for this band because, just like their influences, My Empire's songs range from heavier styles, like their song &quot;Punch Me,&quot; to a ballad-type song like &quot;Knock Me Down,&quot; and the rest cover everything in between.
My Empire has played everywhere from a local billiard hall in Ellington, a church carnival in Tolland, and Toad's Plce in New Haven. My Empire has also been featured on The Rock 106.9 WCCC's Homegrown show during the week of June. Shows have been lined up this summer for a &quot;DIY&quot; tour to promote their music, funded by their own hard earnings.
All in all, My Empire is a band that wants to rock a crowd with energy while also having fun doing it. Doing whatever it takes to reach their goals, whether they be personal or band related, they have all devoted a great deal of their own time, energy, and money into something that not only do they believe in, but something that they know can reach out toa lot of different people. But at the end of the day when all is said and done, they love music and will do whatever it takes to get to the top.

Please Welcome Ocecmic To The Octave Family!

If there is proof that impossible is nothing, Ocecmic is the perfect example. Take five unique individuals, add angst, determination, and passion and what you get is Ocecmic. Ocecmic has died and been reborn about 3 times, because of its quest for a unique sound. It was first born in the summer of 2005 when drummer Chilango wanted to start a band with friend (then guitarist) Carlos. They then sought after guitarist S.Ministry to throw into the mix. In search of a vocalist S.Ministry found a hidden talent in an old schoolmate, Justin Sane.With 2 songs and no bass player something wasn't clicking. Ocecmic was forced to rid the band of guitar player Carlos, while picking up bassist Anderson. After breaking through in their debut year of 2009(releasing their debut EP &quot;The 5th Sun&quot;,establishing a growing fanbase,and playing countless live shows around Connecticut and making amazing new friends along the way) Anderson was let go from the band due to personal conflicts within the group. Searching for a bigger sound, Enter Samhain and Richie Rage. Bass player Samhain and 2nd guitarist/ 2nd vocalist Richie rage add a bigger more aggressive element to the band. With Ocecmic now being complete and their star rising more and more everyday, they are ready to take on the world and squeeze it for everything its worth!
Ocecmic is here, Ocecmic will never die!

City Under Siege
<a target="_new" href="http://www.myspace.com/cusrock">http://www.myspace.com/cusrock

A Powerpop/rock band from Buffalo NY was founded in early February of 2006. Through this time, City Under Siege has worked hard at gaining a loyal fan base throughout the region. CUS has played in many places such as Buffalo and Rochester, and this past summer CUS had a mini tour that took them to New York City, Philadelphia, and Cincinnati among others.

The band is currently made up of the very talented lead singer and guitarist John Wittlinger. The multi-talented lead guitarist Matt Buscarino is skilled beyond his years. The smooth bass sound of the band is brought to you by the easy going Tom Migliaccio. Eric Arthur brings you the drum beats, and Cassie Grainge rounds out the band with her classic violin sound.

City Under Siege is proud to be working with Sam Conjerti, who has written songs for multi-platinum artist LFO as well as written for major motion pictures such as Soul Men and Amreeka.             The Palace Presents Night 2:&nbsp;
            10 Mountains 10 Years!

            With special introduction by Leeza Gibbons, narrated by Anne Hathaway, and a soundtrack including songs by Bruce Springsteen, Philip Giffin, Genji Nakano, ZOX, FourWayFree, and Loretta Hagen. &quot;10 Mountains 10 Years&quot; chronicles the epic of an international team of mountain climbers who are climbing 10 mountains on 6 continents in a decade to raise awareness for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease. The film gives an inside look at the parallel climbs happening in the medical community alongside the team's endurance at altitude. It is a story of hope and of regular people coming together to change this world and leave something better behind.

            The dream to create this documentary feature film began in 2006. It was a conversation between friends and a list of one impossible goal after another. In this 3-year labor of love, we've learned that when you give your heart to the right thing for the right reasons, the dreams will come to you. Thousands of people across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Africa came together to make this film a reality. It is our hope that audiences will feel the passion and enjoy inspiration to utilize their own passions in life for the greater good of others. Thank you to everyone for supporting the journey!

            Movie Pick of the Day
            &quot;Moral Kombat&quot;

            Moral Kombat takes a look into the controversial subject of violence in video games. Director Spencer Halpin shows the constant conflict between the game creators' first amendment right to make a violent game and the eminent threat that violence poses on the next generation.

            In addition, the film is full of the latest green screen and high-definition technology that allow watchers to actually envision the world of gaming. Filled with interviews from lead game designers, politicians, parents, and psychologists, this film provides a candid take on the influence games have on youth today.

With special introduction by Leeza Gibbons, narrated by Anne Hathaway, and a soundtrack including songs by Bruce Springsteen, Philip Giffin, Genji Nakano, ZOX, FourWayFree, and Loretta Hagen. "10 Mountains 10 Years" chronicles the epic of an international team of mountain climbers who are climbing 10 mountains on 6 continents in a decade to raise awareness for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease.
